Post Cards. "The Good Old Days"

This is a digitally printed envelope containing seven original post cards of dismal British holiday resorts, photographed between 1950 and 1970.
Volunteers, who were children in the 1950's, have written by hand on the back of the blank cards.

The messages counteract the deluge of nostalgia and misplaced sentiment which our culture seems to enjoy at present. This nostalgia may have something to do with "Brexit." If you wish to go back, be aware that memory is selective.

Colophon produced on a typewriter (of course.)
